GVK goes with the flow with Samantha Jones

Here we are with Samantha Jones talking about allowing life to flow and the challenges that we encounter as we strive for that state of being. I believe that all things are connected and that every aspect of our lives is important as it carries us to the next level on our path to enlightenment. I make decisions at a time and place with the knowledge and information I have gathered thus far. I have not always used the wisdom that I have inherently, but, that again becomes part of the experience I am in at the moment. I know that every person I have encountered has in some way influenced how I move forward. Not all of those interactions have been pleasant. In fact, for a very long time, they were devastating. Yet they afforded me a wealth of information, not only about the people and situations around me, but, also about myself. Staying positive and Trusting come from the Knowing that we are in the hands of the Divine. That we can not make a bad choice. We are simply choosing and the bad/good labels come from without us. I think we can sit in the dark and experience that to give us a greater contrast to the Light. And why not? It certainly makes life interesting!! My earlier years were not easy, but, boy, they were interesting! My life is still interesting, but, I find more grounded ways to experience it. Most importantly is to know that everything that I have experienced has lead me to where I am today and I would not change one piece of it because then I might not be able to join in vibration with all of you!

GVK is center stage with the Light of Samantha Jones

Staying centered in the Light of the Divine ~ that was always the quandary of my existence. How, when all these bad things have happened or are happening to me do I stay positive or in the Light of the Divine? Sigh. When I began my spiritual quest in earnest, this question nipped at me heels on a regular basis. What I have come to understand is that everything I have experienced takes part in my Soul’s growth. The things that have been most challenging to my human self, have ultimately brought the most beautiful golden nuggets out in my being. The teen years, for many of us, are ripe with confusion and drama. My teen years were not only layered with “normal” teen feelings, but, a constant, unrelenting emotional and physical abuse from other teens. I thought that nothing good could have come from that place. Yet, as I dug into my spiritual & psychic practice, I began to open up to a bigger vision. I started to find that the teen experience had opened my empathic gifts fully. I was able to see a situation from the “underdogs” side of things. I was able to feel what others feel and relate to my environment on a whole new level of communication and awareness. I became passionate for justice and speaking my Truth. As difficult and painful as that time was for me, I believe that it was those exact experiences that brought out gifts that were dormant and needing opening. And as long as I remember to look at experiences from the Divine perspective, I can step into the Light that seems to be evading me. And by looking at a situation from the Divine perspective, I mean to be able to find out how this situation that I am experiencing is serving me in some way. While I admit, this is not an easy task in many circumstances, I have come to rely on this way of living life so that I do not fall into the trap of “poor me”.

I love talking with Samantha about this because she exudes an air of positive vibration in all that she manifests, not only herself, but, with all the people that she works with. She does not deny that an experience was challenging, but, she definitely looks for a positive bend to it. And she brings laughter and joy to the forefront of the world, which we need in large quantities!

GVK divinely conversing with Caroline Fairless part 2

It is always fun to be so involved in our conversation that we want to continue into the following week! Continuing on the path of how the Divine shows up, Caroline Fairless, brings us to learning from the Earth on how to “be” in a Divine way. We touched on how in the winter things seem to be “dead” but, in fact things are merely sleeping, resting, gestating and going within to become ready for the explosion of Spring.  Quiet time of winter gives us permission to be spend more time on the things we do not easily find time for in the warmer weather. And what does that have to do with the Divine? Well, in the past, I had trouble sitting in the stillness of the winter. I would often find myself feeling “blue” and restless. On one very, very quiet winter I was thinking that maybe my Higher Self and All That Is had forgotten about me. I moped around for a few months and then just gave in to the quiet. I meditated in the quiet, and at that time could not “hear” the Divine’s call. I continued my intense (always!!) conversations with All That Is. Still, I heard nothing. Sigh. Then on a whim, I bought some pussywillow branches. I threw them in water, also on a whim, because they are no longer living so they don’t need water. Then I put them in a corner. I walked by them for a month truly appreciating their soft beauty until one day I noticed what looked like white mold in the water around the branches. I thought ‘oh no! I’ve left them in the water too long’. So I pulled them out of the water and to my astonishment, saw that the white surrounding the branches were hundreds of roots!! A friend was visiting that day and she said to me, “Kristin, God is talking to you.” Yes, I said, I know. And I did. It was a powerful affirmation that All That Is, is ALWAYS with me, even if I think that I can not hear it. I ended up putting those pussywillow branches in a pot and she grew all summer, then in the fall, I placed her in my garden where she has grown into a young, strong beautiful tree. Any time I think that the Divine has forgotten about me, I go outside and look at that lovely tree and my heart fills with gratitude…

GVK gets Divine with Caroline Fairless ~ part 1

gvk-final-01Happy New Year Everyone!! We begin this 2014 with the oh so fabulous Caroline Fairless! I became so entranced with Caroline, that there are two parts to our conversation. We explore what is Divine Guidance to each of us. This topic is Profound and it is very different for everyone. Caroline brings to the forefront of this conversation that we, as humans, are not separate from our environment. We are not above, better than, or superior to our surroundings. We are a part of. Everything. What we do, what we say, and even what we feel reverberates out and effects not just our immediate surroundings, but, those vibrations echo out and can be felt around the whole Earth. When we are open to Divinity, the mundane or even the difficult becomes sacred. We find a different perspective. For me, that Divinity comes in most powerfully in Nature. I receive messages from the Earth and her creatures every day in many ways. When I opened up to the messages I began to find more peace in my life. I have studied what the Native Americans beliefs are regarding what Mother Earth has to say and find an utmost resonance there. After all, She is a living breathing entity. She is our life force and our sustenance. Do you have a story about Divine Guidance through nature? Share it with us!! To learn more about Caroline, click on the embedded links below…
