GVK & Jenn Grosso explore the sacred of everyday

gvksacredTalking with Jenn Grosso, I am filled with hope and renewal. Jenn writes about the perils of the living, on her website and I can identify. Sometimes I am so overwhelmed with the how things appear out in the world, I feel like I can’t get off my couch!

I am horrified by the war on our Mother Earth, on our sacred animals and on our Divine humanity. Even without tuning into the news, I am fully aware of the suffering that is present now. I feel it. Sometimes it feels like it will swallow me whole. I can’t breathe! I fall into the illusion that as one person, I can not possibly affect change.

But then I remember. I remember that we are all Divine and all is in Divine order. I promise you that this is Truth.

Every right action filled with Love will vibrate out a thousand times bigger than it’s original intent.

Every piece of garbage I pick up, cleans our Mother. Every animal I help, saves the endangered. Every act of patience I give my children, heals the abused. Every act of compassion for my fellow beings mitigates the atrocities acted upon us all.

You have a choice. Become powerful with your choice. Change your world by experiencing the sacred in your every movement. Thich Nhat Hanh writes Peace is Every Step. Ram Dass tells us “The thinking mind is what is busy. You have to stay in your heart. You have to be in your heart. Be in your heart. The rest is up here in your head where you are doing, doing, doing.”

By being in your heart, you will find the sacred in the every day

Jenn’s Prayer:

may every step I take today,

be an offering of love

may my unfolding heart

continue to open further

to let the whole world fit inside

let it all be done with love

GVK connects the chakras to soul vows

highSoul-Vows-194x300It is so easy to feel the essence of the Divine when talking with Janet Conner ~ author of Writing Down Your Soul, The Lotus and The Lily, & Soul Vows. She walks her talk or lives what she writes about. And now she is focusing on vows. Soul Vows to be exact.

Janet is offering a 20% discount for her new Soul Vows tele-course. It begins on April 14th at 8pm est. Listen to the podcast for the code word to receive your discount. I look forward to connecting with you there!

What exactly is a vow? Well, I looked it up ~ it means an oath, a pledge, a promise, a bond, a commitment, a covenant. What could be more powerful than a covenant with oneself? I’m not just talking about some words but a covenant . Something sacred, something holy, something that reflects the Divine within ourselves. Lest we forget, and sometimes it sure seems like we have, Janet is here to remind us of our holiness.

We have spent eons cloaked in the darkness. And because of that, we be~lie~ve that we are unholy, unclean, unworthy. Nothing could be further from the Truth. We are sparks of Divinity meant to shine our unique Light onto the world in a positive way. But, we can not shine what we do not know. And that is where Soul Vows come in. It is a tool to accessing the Divine within the self and thus knowing the Higher Self. When you connect that with the chakras, then you have a powerful tool that raises the veil, unlocks the door and initiates your freedom from the dark. You are free from the lie that you are unworthy. It shines the Truth all around you. It shows you your inner Self, your holy Worth, your Divinity. Are you ready? Me too…

GVK explores how animals add to our lives

gvkanimalI loved talking with Uma Valerie Carruthers! Why? Because she is all about how important animals are in our lives. I can’t imagine life without animals. And I don’t just mean domesticated animals, I mean all animals! I love sitting with nature and just listening to the birds, watching the insects scurry, build & burrow,  becoming friends with the squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, skunks or who ever happens to be hanging out in my energy field. Animals are part of the very fiber of my being and utterly important to my existence.

As we awaken, as we become more conscious in our spiritual nature, as we live as spiritual beings as opposed to human beings, we begin to understand that we are connected to everything.  Everything communicates with us as we do with them. The animal world shows up to bring us love, to mirror things we need to transmute and to move us into an elevated vibration. They teach us compassion,  forgiveness and unconditional love~they open our heart chakras.

When I was living in Boston, one of my coworkers came into work crying. I went to comfort her and find out what was wrong. She said that on her way to work she saw a group of people gathered around a large cube of compacted garbage. From inside that cube, were the cries of a cat who had somehow been in the garbage when it was picked up and was then compacted with it, but was still alive. All the people gathered were frantically taking turns ripping the garbage away to get to the cat. The police had been called and they were on their way to help. My coworker had been helping, but, could not stay because she was already late for work. I assured her that people would stay until that cat was free. She went out to the spot at her lunch break ~ the people were gone, the was cat gone and there was a large whole in the garbage cube.

Every person who helped that cat had a heart opening. That cat affected a positive change of love in each and every person who helped it to it’s freedom. Some people opened up to more compassion and love, some people were able to be freed from something that bound them, and some people left with a sense that they matter in this world. Lives were changed. All of them. With the help of one little cat…
