GVK gets our “om” on with Jeannette Howard

It was great to have yoga instructor, Jeannette Howard, at the studio!! She brought all kinds of ideas to the forefront of the conversation about staying centered during our crazy busy lives. One of the things we explored the Archangel Metatron’s cube which is sacred geometry. I can meditate on this for long stretches of time and I receive a different message every time. Try it for yourself!

As promised here is the meaning of Turkey totem ~ Turkey was the medicine of saints and mystics. Turkey transcends the self and acts on the behalf of others. Doing unto others and feeding the People is the message that Turkey brings forth. If Turkey shows up for you, then you are receiving a gift ~ whatever it is, it will not be insignificant. Maybe a rainbow is going to show up in your day or you will win a trip to an exotic island! Be on the look out and say Thank You when it appears.

We also talked about Labyrinths and the calming, centering effect one can receive walking through. I have had profound experiences in my labyrinth walks. Always I get the feeling of being lovingly watched over and once I heard a voice tell me to keep dreaming big and that I was being cheered on by the Angels! That came at a time when I was wondering about writing another solo show. The encouragement I heard was instrumental in the writing of

You CAN get there from here…

GVK and Julie Genovese delve into the Divine part 2

Welcome back wtih Julie Genovese and connecting with the Divine! Why do we resist what we know will keep us connected? It is very important for me to meditate on a daily basis. Yet sometimes, I just check out and watch TV until very late and then I am “too tired” to meditate. Yet, when I go to bed, I am restless. Why? Because I have not given my soul it’s important time to have a conscious contact with All That Is. Julie, Megan and I all agree that ritual is a very important part of connecting with our Higher Selves and the Divine. Recently, I was doing some deep soul writing with Janet Conner’s The Lotus and The Lily. The word Yahweh came to me over and over and over ~ it was non stop! I had no idea what this word was or what it meant, so I looked it up and I discovered that it is the original Hebrew name for God!! Well, I knew that I was being called by the Divine and that was very powerful for me because it means that the Divine is as excited to connect with me as I am with It…

GVK and Julie Genovese, delve into the Divine ~ part 1

GVK  and Julie talked at length about staying connected to the divine while we live our busy lives. This topic will come up often because of how busy we truly are. Whether we are parents of children, parents to animals, helping our older parents, practicing our career choices or any of the other katrillion things we focus on, How do we get still? How do we hear the still and Divine voice within?  Julie brought up the very excellent and True fact that each experience in life brings us closer to being on purpose. When I look at each job, each experience (even the painful ones!) and each person I see how they have added to the fabric of my tapestry of life. Remembering that fact helps me stay connected because I Know that it is all interwoven. And when I Know that in my heart, then I can continue to shift my focus to the Light or to the Divine. And I have learned, it is a choice. But, no matter what the choice is, each one brings in rich experiences and we add it into our information file of being human. I have definately chosen to walk away from the Light in my life. I needed to experinece that as a soul to understand the contrast between Light and Dark. I also needed to understand and learn to love my own Dark parts so that I could integrate them into my Light. Here is a list of some of our favorite spiritual leaders that we reference on the podcast:

Abraham Hicks, Wayne Dyer, and Thich Nhat Hanh
